Chief Complaint –The patient presented with a three-month history of burning pain in both feet, accompanied by ulcer formation, which was worse in the left foot than the right. The condition was aggravated when the feet were hanging down and was associated with bleeding and the discharge of offensive pus.
Initial Condition
Due to the pain and the ulcers on his feet, the patient was unable to walk and could not attend school. Furthermore, the infected ulcers caused the patient to suffer from fever and severe pain.
Subsequent Condition
The patient came to the Seva Arogya Foundation’s weekly dispensary. Upon examination, doctors found that the wound was considerably infected and had not responded to previous treatments. After careful investigation, our doctor suggested that tests were necessary to determine the severity of the infection.
