Chronic Urticaria with Angio-Oedema

AGE/GENDER: 4 YR/ FEMALE CHILD

Chief Complaint

The patient presented with a two-year history of urticaria  over the body, most notably on the face, accompanied by swelling of the lips and eyelids . For the past two years, she had been experiencing four to five episodes of itching and generalized redness daily, with symptoms aggravated at night.

Initial Condition

During the initial Seva Arogya Foundation , Outpatient Department (OPD) visit, the patient, accompanied by her mother, complained of generalized itching, particularly on the face, which significantly disrupted her sleep and caused considerable discomfort. She reported having sought conventional treatment previously, but without sustained relief.

Subsequent Condition

Following the OPD visit, the doctor provided the patient’s mother with appropriate counseling, which included advice to avoid consuming outside food. The patient adhered to the prescribed homoeopathic medication regimen.

Within three months of following the doctor’s instructions, the patient showed significant improvement in her condition. The itching had subsided completely, and she was subsequently able to sleep well at night. The patient’s mother expressed gratitude to the medical facility and staff, specifically noting the convenience of obtaining the medications.
